How to deal with traffic police in Uganda, Our traffic police in Uganda are always inquisitive and attentive. So, expect a pull over more than twice while on your self-drive road trip; always on their green and white-colored matching out-fits (uniform). They will ask for your driving license; lucky you, Your driving permit. Gives you permission to drive on Uganda roads for a period of up to 3 months.

In case the car has been damaged please take pictures of the damaged vehicle and share them with us so we can process a police report. If the incident involves one or more vehicles details of these vehicles and their drivers is also needed with number plate.

For any slight issues with the car, please call us we will direct you to our mechanic in one of our network of workshops in Uganda, or anywhere we operate from. In case a car cannot be fixed within 24 hours, it will call for a replacement car from our office in Kampala so that you can continue with your journey.
