1. A Valid Driving Licence
Every person intending to drive the rental vehicle must provide a valid driving licence issued by their country of residence. An International Driving Permit (IDP) can be helpful, especially if your licence is not in English, but it is not always required.
A valid foreign driving licence can generally be used for short-term travel and self-drive trips in Uganda and other parts of East Africa.
2. Passport or Valid Identification
For identification and rental verification, you will need to provide a valid passport or another acceptable form of national identification. Your original documents remain with you; we only retain a copy or digital record for our rental documentation.
3. Booking and Reservation Confirmation
We recommend confirming your preferred vehicle in advance, particularly during busy travel periods. Depending on the booking, a confirmation deposit may be required to secure the reservation.
In some cases, your booking can also be processed after you provide your travel information, including flight details and copies of your passport and driving licence. The remaining rental payment can be arranged upon vehicle collection or delivery at Entebbe International Airport, Kampala, Entebbe, or another mutually agreed location.
